Happy New Year!
The festivities have came to an end and its time to get back to work and focus on all of the positive things we want in 2016.
It's that time of year when having over indulged people vow to get fit and sign up for the gym, yoga classes, take up running etc. Personally I think it's a great new years resolution and with good intention lots of people make a positive change to their health.
As parents we are responsible for encouraging our children to be healthy and active and in a generation of gadgets, TV shows and social media its more important than ever to get our kids off the sofa and moving!
Dance is a superb way to keep children active and fit. There are so many options in dance for both boys and girls including ballet, acrobatics, street dance, break dance, belly dancing, jazz, tap and hip hop! There are many benefits to dance and this is what we focus on at Dynamic Dance.
Active
Dance improves children's stamina, physical strength and flexibility.
Confidence
Regular dance classes will improves your child's self esteem and confidence with a sense of achievement through performance and examinations.
Discipline
Although we focus on encouragement and building confidence our class are structured with a level of discipline. As pupils advance to become a skilled technician in dance discipline and focus is required.
Social skills and team work
Being part of a dance school or company will ensure your child is working as part of a team and improve their social skills.
We currently have classes running in Cheam and Kingston and provide dance for schools and nursery sessions. Contact me for more info and to book a free trial class.
I have whole list of things I'd like to achieve in 2016 which includes a home/work balance, returning to my post baby fitness level and achieving more professionally. I'll try to do this one step at a time!
We will be expanding our class timetable this year and hope to announce an exciting project very soon.
Wishing you all the best this year
